What You'll Need
* Bachelor's or associate degree in management, administration, supply chain, customer service, or 5+ years working experience in product distribution to customer base.
* Knowledge of the safety and legal documentation processes for handling related warehouse activities (MSDS, Equipment checklist, BOL).
* Working understanding of Warehouse Management System.
* Should have excellent leadership and administration skills and abilities.
* Strong motivational, effectual team building, and decision-making skills.
* Ability to effectively manage time and resolve crises.
* Must be comfortable repeatedly lifting up to 75 pounds unassisted and maneuvering product 150+ pounds unassisted or via team lift.

GENERAL

Ensure all stock is pulled and loaded into the delivery vehicle with accompanying and necessary documents, in conjunction with delivery schedules maintaining a 99% accuracy rate.

Prepare reports for the Operations Manager.
Ensure that all warehouse equipment is in working condition.
Report work-related injuries of warehouse workers to our third-party administrator, Zurich.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Professional Experience
Minimum of 4 years of general warehouse experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory position.
Equipment
OSHA approved steel toed safety shoes required from the first day of this job.

Monitors productivity of warehouse associates and balances workload to ensure production and delivery goals are met.
Provides training, tools, and equipment for warehouse associates to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
Ensures all warehousing functions are running smoothly and acts as a point-of-contact for escalated issues.
Identifies process improvements to enhance distribution center performance and the effectiveness of each department.
Evaluates the distribution center's alignment for efficiency and inventory management.
Ensures all associates maintain clean work areas and follow company safety policies and procedures.
Completes appropriate paperwork and productivity reports.

Work Environment
Usually located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort, such as dust, fumes, or odors.
Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment that may be heavy (50+ pounds) or awkward.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education and Experience
Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 5+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
