What Will You Be Doing?
Work with multiple departments and third-party organizations to manage Accounts Receivable and record Cash in an accurate and timely manner

Prepare and issue invoices to clients on behalf of departments across the organization

Prepare journal entries for month-end closing
Compare internal cash records to bank statements to find any mismatches between recorded transactions and actual transactions.

POSITION SUMMARY
Umoja Biopharma is seeking an experienced accounting professional to run our payroll function and provide assistance to accounts payable as needed. This individual will have knowledge of multi-state payroll processing best practices and procedures, relevant payroll-related standards, regulations, and other related requirements to process payroll timely and accurately. CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Payroll responsibilities include:
* Payroll processing:
* Process and verify payroll cycles, including regular bi-weekly, off-cycle, and bonus payrolls for 165+ employees across multiple states.
* Manage the pay submission and approval process.
* Follow up with management on any time reporting questions or issues, ensuring timely and accurate time entry.
* Taxes and deductions: Manage the setup and reconciliation of voluntary deductions and process and transmit tax payments and filings.

Job Description
The Cash and Collections Specialist will support the cash application and collections functions for one or more CCS branch offices and will work closely with the Cash and Collections Manager and branch office General Manager(s). This role will be required to handle the collection efforts via phone and email for their assigned accounts, to apply check and ACH payments on a daily basis, and to research unapplied cash to ensure proper application.
The candidate will be responsible for a number of tasks, including by not limited to:
Manage overall collection efforts for assigned accounts
Respond to customer questions and complaints
Contact clients via email or phone to resolve billing disputes, determine payment status, and collect on past due invoices
Investigate and respond to customer inquiries related to cash application or collections
Carry out collection and reporting activities according to specific monthly close deadlines
Additional duties as requested

Stay active by walking the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors during your shift.
What You'll Get:
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Evening shifts, usually Sunday-Thursday, starting around 7:00 or 8:00 PM
