Yes, Fastenal drug tests before an offer of employment. In most cases, this is a four-panel drug screen that now excludes testing for cannabis.

In addition to a pre-employment screening, Fastenal reserves the right to drug test an employee at any time if substance use is suspected or if a workplace accident occurs. A positive drug test result can void any worker's compensation claims and result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
