What is the hiring process at Broadcom?

Depending on the position, Broadcom may also require an applicant to complete an assessment. The assessment is job-specific or behavioral in nature. If everything looks good, you will be invited to either an all-day series of interviews, or one 45-minute interview.

If you are asked to come in for an all-day series, anticipate having anywhere from four to seven 45-minute interviews, each with a different person or group of people, ranging from managers to individual engineers. The entire process should last six to seven hours, including lunch.

If you're applying for a technical position, the interview will be focused almost entirely on technical knowledge and experience. The interviews are rated by current and past employees as medium difficulty. There are usually no puzzles or brain teasers. Typically you have two technical interviews, followed by interviews with a manager and HR.
