What is the hiring process at FIS?

To get started, you will need to upload your resume and cover letter to FIS's career website. The site has a feature that allows you to get tailored job recommendations based on your skills and interests. Locate the job that you want to apply for and then click apply to upload your resume. They will ask you some additional questions such as:

Once submitted, you will receive an email with instructions on how to take your assessment test, which is specific to the position that you're applying to.

Onsite interviews usually consist of four half-hour interviews by technical staff. The technical manager asks basic questions about prior experiences, difficulties, reasons for seeking a position, etc.

Each of the other engineers asks specific questions about programming knowledge related to the job posting, detailed language questions, specifics of operating systems, and development environments.

Common analyst interview questions FIS asks during interviews feature case study questions, scenario-based questions, and questions related to financial technology.

Common software developer and engineer interview questions FIS asks during interviews are puzzles and problem-solving challenges, specific banking and market questions, and technical questions related to using tools like SQL and JavaScript.

Common system engineer questions focus on networking, AWS, VPC, subnet, NAT, Nat Gateway, SQL server, Networking and CI/CD pipeline, troubleshooting issues, and tracking with JIRA tickets.
