This question is about Piedmont Healthcare and Piedmont Healthcare jobs.
The hiring process at Piedmont Healthcare varies by position and usually takes several weeks due to the drug testing and background checks that are required.
There are four basic steps to the hiring process at Piedmont Healthcare:
Application: Prospective employees are encouraged to explore the Piedmont Healthcare careers webpage and get information on Piedmont Healthcare's business, culture, and available jobs. The website has a job search option for new applicants as well as one for current employees.
When you apply for a job on the Piedmont Healthcare website, you will be prompted to create an online profile if you don't already have one. After you submit your application, you will be able to update your profile, apply to jobs, and monitor your application status using the online portal.
Pre-screening text messages or assessments may be sent to you, or you will be contacted by a member of the internal recruitment team regarding next steps.
Please note that full COVID-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment depending on role and location. If you have concerns, please discuss this with a member of the internal recruitment team.
Interview: If your skills seem to be a match for the role, you will be contacted to set up a phone interview with the corporate office.
During the phone interview, you will discuss the role in greater detail and get to ask any questions you have regarding the role and/or the company. If you are still interested and the recruitment team feels that you are a good fit, you will move on to the in-person interview.
The in-person interview usually takes place with the hiring manager and at least one team member who is currently working in the role you have applied for or is at a similar level. This interview tends to involve a lot of scenario-based questions in order to gauge your personality and experience in past roles.
Typical interview questions include:
What would you consider to be your strengths?
What is a pet peeve of yours in the workplace?
What qualities are you looking for in your next position?
How would your last employer describe you?
Tell me about a time when you had to handle a difficult situation. How did you handle or overcome it?
Offer: If you are selected for the role, a member of the internal recruitment team will contact you to review the offer letter details, benefits, and more information on your new career at Piedmont Healthcare.
Onboarding and verification: Once you have accepted an offer, you will be asked to complete forms and start the pre-onboarding process. You will also be required to submit a drug test and background check.
Depending on the role, you may have to go through a licensure or education verification process. The internal recruitment team member will provide you with more detailed information on how to complete these steps.
