Who owns Broadcom?

Avago Technologies Limited owns Broadcom after acquiring them in 2016. Broadcom now operates as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the merged entity, Broadcom Inc.

Broadcom is an American designer, developer, and manufacturer of a wide range of semiconductor and infrastructure software products. The company was founded in 1991 by Henry Samueli and Henry Nicholas from UCLA. In 1998, Broadcom became a publicly traded company.

In 2022, Broadcom's annual revenue was $29.99 billion, a 17.38% increase year-over-year. In 2021 there were 20,000 Broadcom employees, and the company was a leading global supplier of fabless semiconductors.
