We're growing, and we need a strategic, technically savvy Business Development professional based in the Jersey City area to help us expand our reach, build trusted relationships, and drive revenue.
What You'll Do
Identify, prospect, and engage new business opportunities (via inbound leads, outreach, networking) in the healthcare / medical billing / health IT space
Qualify prospects through discovery, understanding their pain points (security, compliance, vulnerability, regulatory risk)
Partner with technical and delivery teams to craft solution proposals, demos, and pilot engagements
Present (virtually and/or in person) to executive and technical stakeholders (e.g., CIOs, IT directors, compliance officers)
Maintain and grow a healthy sales pipeline (CRM management, forecasting, follow-ups)
Collaborate with marketing on content, webinars, events, and collateral tailored to the healthcare cybersecurity vertical
Help refine messaging, positioning, and sales materials, especially on technical/security topics
Track market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory shifts, and feed insights into strategy
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
Strong communication skills (verbal & written); ability to explain technical/security concepts in business terms
Minimum 1 year of full-time professional experience in sales, business development, pre-sales engineering, or technical account management; 2+ years preferred
Some technical background - exposure to IT, cybersecurity, networking, cloud, or risk/compliance
Comfort engaging both business and technical stakeholders
Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and work in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated, proactive, and well organized
Willingness to travel locally/regionally as needed (e.g., client visits, conferences)
Ability to work in-person at our Jersey City office

One element in our total compensation package is base pay. The starting salary for this role is targeted to be between $80,000 to $106,000 annually.

Overview:
We're seeking an experienced Enterprise Applications Engineer to support and optimize our core business platforms, with an emphasis on scalable integrations, automation, and application performance. Experience with Adobe Workfront development is highly desirable. This role requires hands-on development and configuration work across our enterprise systems - ranging from low-code automation to custom scripts and integration workflows. Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and enhance enterprise applications to support evolving business needs across sales, finance, HR, and operations.
Design, build, and maintain automated workflows using adobe Workfront Fusion or similar tool, enabling data flow between enterprise platforms.
Maintain, configure, and update the Workfront system, including user roles, permissions, project templates, workflows, and integrations with other tools
Assist in designing automations and workflows across systems using platform tools or middleware.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions through configuration, scripting, or low-code tools.
Maintain and support application functionality, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Collaborate with business users, product managers, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
Create and maintain documentation for system configuration, integrations, and standard processes.
Support light experimentation with AI-enabled tools such as Claude or OpenAI.
Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques to drive consistent outputs from large language models (LLMs).
Provide day-to-day support for multiple SaaS platforms, addressing system issues, troubleshooting problems, and guiding users on best practices.
Design, build, and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and metrics to provide actionable insights for project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
1-3 years' experience working with enterprise applications; 3+ years of experience as a Workfront Administrator or in a similar role managing project management systems strongly preferred.
1-3 year's experience with Adobe Fusion
Experience with systems integrations using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware tools
Interest in AI tools and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude) and willingness to learn prompt engineering concepts.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in fast-paced environment
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Compensation Range:
$75,000- $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications. Eligible for annual company bonus program or commission incentive based on role. Job Summary:
The Applications Engineer is responsible for assisting customers and distributors in product applications. Personnel in this position will leverage in-depth Generant product knowledge to provide effective solutions. The Applications Engineer will also have a substantial role in marketing Generant products and maintaining customer and distributor relationships. To a lesser degree, the Applications Engineer will assist in processing orders (received via mail, fax, phone or e-mail) and handling quotations, lead-time requests and estimated delivery requests.
Essential Functions:
Initial point of contact for technical assistance requests by customers and distributors.
Talk through and understand typical applications as explained by customers and provide potential solutions based on product performance knowledge and published information.
Answer any technical questions about Generant products or effectively pass the question on to internal personnel who can provide an accurate answer.
Receives and handles request for formal price quotation, lead time, purchase order, order changes, adjustments and cancellations from customers.
Archives and maintains relationships with customers.
Uses computer to retrieve customer information and order status information.
Works to expedite deliveries as necessary. Confers with production, sales, shipping, inventory or transportation companies to expedite or trace delayed/missing shipments. Follows up on customer inquiries.
Makes price and delivery quotations verbally for standard items to approved customers.
Refers customers to pre-established Distributors in their area and/or specific industry.
Assists customers and distributors with proper product selection for their applications.
Maintains the sales contact management system.
As needed, can perform all duties of a Customer Service Rep.
Assist VP of Engineering and/ or VP of Sales and Marketing in various capacities.
Issue RMA numbers and provide information to engineering regarding customer RMA evaluations.
