Physical Requirements:
This position requires the employee to comply with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons', and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training. Compensation:

The Child Abuse Medical Provider provides forensic medical evaluation and consultation
services to children and youth referred for concerns of abuse and neglect. This is a unique
opportunity for a talented and motivated individual with experience in pediatrics or family

evaluation and treatment of child abuse.
Principle responsibilities include but not limited to:
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide complete child abuse assessment and consultation services to children referred with concerns of child abuse and neglect.
Conduct forensic medical examinations of children and youth. Determine child and familys medical and social needs, including emotional and psychological concerns, and make appropriate recommendations.
Complete all required medical documentation, including photo-documentation, electronic health record system and patient charts. Prepare reports for client records and investigations.
In coordination with the Medical Director, serve as a designated medical provider for suspicious physical injury cases referred under Karlys Law. Provide additional medical consultation for multidisciplinary team members and local medical providers on child abuse issues as needed.
Regularly participate in case review with the multidisciplinary teams in coordination with other medical providers.
Provide expert and fact witness testimony in Benton and Linn County proceedings and other jurisdictions as required.
Assist in establishing medical policy and protocols in accordance with ABC Houses mission, vision and goals.
Complete a minimum of eight hours of continuing medical education in child abuse medicine annually and participate in additional quality assurance activities including consultation with child abuse experts, literature review and peer review.
Share call-phone duties at minimum one week per month

Skills and Qualifications:
This position is open to MD or DO with a license to practice medicine in the State of Oregon. Pediatrics or Family Medicine preferred.
Experience with child abuse medicine preferred.

North Clackamas School District participates in the Oregon Public Employee Retirement System (PERS and OPSRP) on behalf of its employees. What Your Days Will be Like:
As a Caregiver within our Care for Business team, you will have the opportunity to care for children of multiple families in your area! You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the children under your care. Our team will automatically place you in jobs based on your experience, location, and availability!
Conduct Intro Calls with each family you're booked with
Care for children in their homes, typically an 8-hour day
Abide by and follow the schedule and rules set forth by parents
Perform household duties relating to the care you provide; i.e. cleaning up after meals, doing dishes, and cleaning up after activities
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Must be 18 years or older
Monday through Friday availability required (6am-8pm each day)
Minimum of 2 years of in-home childcare experience, including infant experience
Minimum of 3 professional childcare references, including infant experience
Reliable transportation to travel up to 25 miles to reach families' homes
Adult, Infant, and Pediatric CPR/First Aid Required prior to start date (will provide reimbursement for certification)
Familiarity and ability to use app-based products and electronic devices
Authorized to work in the United States
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and frequent bending
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs at one time
Exposure to sick children
Compensation Range: $19 to $21 hourly. The base compensation range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position.
Actual compensation may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance.

Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 2 years of professional childcare experience.
Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
A strong understanding of child development.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The incumbent performs a variety of support duties as assigned by the Inclusion Support Specialist to assist children with identified accommodation needs to be safe and successful in CARE programs. Retirement Plan Contributions
North Clackamas School District participates in the Oregon Public Employee Retirement System (PERS and OPSRP) on behalf of its employees. The district contributes the employer portion; there is also a mandatory employee portion. Upon eligibility, which is defined as working at least six full calendar months in a qualifying position, the employee is required to contribute 6% as their employee portion, via payroll deduction. Part-time employees working at least six months and 600 hours in a calendar year will qualify.
SCHEDULE: 2:00pm-6:00pm; Subject to change depending on department needs.
WORK CALENDAR: 175 days
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Incumbents must have successful experience in working with culturally diverse families and communities, or have otherwise demonstrated a commitment to strengthening engagement of a diverse community and skill in communicating with a diverse population.
* Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Must have one year of experience working with children with behavior and/or special needs.
* Must be certified or able to become certified in first aid, CPR, and/or operation of defibrillators.
* Ability to be trained in behavior intervention methodologies in such areas as positive behavior support, safety, and physical management and intervention systems.
* Ability to be trained in medication administration and medical protocol implementation, including such procedures as administering glucagon, injectable epinephrine, and seizure medications.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (depending on specific assignment):
* Works collaboratively with the Inclusion Support Specialist and site staff by assisting with safe and positive child interactions and/or intervention, ensuring safe behaviors, and enhancing social and life skills of children.
* Implements, adapts, and supervises activities designed to meet the physical, emotional, and intellectual needs of students who require additional supports.
* May intervene with children to implement positive behavioral supports.
* Provide complex toileting, feeding, mobility and personal hygiene duties for children requiring such support.
* May escort children in one-on-one or small groups to and from recess and playground, and to and from bus locations.
* When communicating with children, parents, community members, and other staff members, exercises discretion and assures protection of child confidentiality consistent with the direction and guidance of staff, administrators, and school/district policies and procedures.
* Oversees child safety by such activities as recess and playground supervision, bus duty, hallway supervision, etc. Takes steps to intervene when children are not in control or may be in dangerous or unsafe situations.
* Provides inclusion support to children in large groups, small groups, and one-on-one.
* Takes action, or assists in taking action, to use protective physical intervention with children who are at risk of imminent bodily harm by following school-/district-approved procedures.
* Implements behavior support, safety, and accommodation plans as directed by appropriate district personnel and the Inclusion Support Specialist. Documents behavior of children to assist the Inclusion Support Specialist in assessing progress with behavioral and/or safety plans. Maintains or assists in maintaining the child's daily/weekly progress reports.
* Completes timely written documentation of behavior concerns, minor injuries or other child and program documentation in accordance with program policies and guidelines.
* Facilitates large group and small group recreational and enrichment activities.
* Attends program staff meetings and required trainings.
