Preferences: * Three or more years of supervisory experience in a public library setting, including staff scheduling, coaching, performance management, and personnel processes. * Demonstrated experience in budget management, such as tracking expenditures, forecasting needs, and supporting fiscal decision-making. * Experience planning, coordinating, and delivering programming and outreach for diverse age groups and community needs. * Customer service experience: including interpreting and communicating library policies, providing high-quality public service, and effectively managing challenging or escalated situations. * Experience with facility operations, including opening and closing procedures, submitting and tracking maintenance requests, and contributing to the development or improvement of operational workflows. * Experience with collection maintenance, such as weeding, assessing collection needs, and supporting strategic collection development.
