The Epic Research Analyst I will be the principal analyst for the Epic Research module and the Research departments systems that might interface into Epic. They should have a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provides guidance, expertise, and solutions related to available system options for build requests throughout all phases of the project development cycle.
2. Works closely with client management, clinical end users, operations, and leadership to identify and specify the complex business needs and processes for diverse development of workflows within the EHR as it applies to Research.
3. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost-effective solutions for the systems design.
4. Performs analysis and system design. May code new or modified programs, reuse existing code with program development software alternatives and/or integrates purchased solutions.
5. Documents, tests, implements, and provides on-going support for the applications.
6. Provides highly technical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing new uses of information technologies that assist the functional business units in meeting their strategic objectives.
7. Acts as expert technical resource to development staff in all phases of the development and implementation process.
8. Performs related duties as assigned or requested.

* Educate: Create learning programs not only for Data owners and Data stewards, but for the institution on the Data Governance Framework and program.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business, or related fields. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CDMP, DAMA) preferred.
* 10+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, or data management, with a preference for financial services experience.
* Proven track record of implementing data governance frameworks and leading data quality initiatives including implementing and driving change management of enterprise data quality tools.
* Strong understanding of regulatory compliance related to data privacy and security (GDPR, CCPA, BCBS 239).
* Experience standing up and driving the successful adoption of an industry leading Data Quality tool (e.g., Informatica, Collibra, Purview) Skills:
* Extensive experience leading cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to drive outcomes collaboratively
* Ability to promote a data-informed culture through engagement, training, and communication.
* Proficiency and hands on experience configuring and implementing data governance and data quality tooling.

YOUR ROLE
You will be an integral part of the Data Management Team delivering high quality data and various deliverables to our key business areas including (but not limited to) traders, portfolio management, credit research and risk. This position could be involved in several aspects of the product development life cycle including gathering user requirements, designing the application, developing and programming the code, end-to-end testing, deployment and documentation. **Role Responsibilities:**
+ Assist in gathering and organizing business requirements from stakeholders and end users through interviews, workshops, and documentation review
+ Support analysis of existing business models and operations, identifying areas for improvement under guidance
+ Participate in requirements documentation, drafting user stories, use cases, and basic functional specifications
+ Support communication and follow-ups during project meetings
+ Help prepare and deliver presentations and training materials for proposed changes to staff and business teams
+ Assist in project implementation activities, such as tracking assigned tasks and preparing documentation for third-party resources
+ Participate in QA and testing efforts, including executing test scripts and documenting results for smaller features or enhancements
+ Support problem identification and root cause analysis, recommending solutions under supervision
+ Assist in application management tasks, including user access support, license audits, and maintaining admin guides
+ Learn to coordinate with vendors on minor upgrades or application support needs, shadowing senior team members
**Job Requirements and Experiences:**
+ Working on a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
+ Ability to learn new technologies as required for the job using documentation and other available sources
+ Ability to handle multiple assignments with changing priorities while meeting deadlines
+ Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to manage customer relationships
+ Demonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space
