The Cloud Database Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing databases in our cloud environment, ensuring high levels of data availability and assisting in the development of data models.
Candidates should have an in-depth understanding of database structure principles and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities:
Design, implement and manage databases in cloud environments
Maintain and manage database security and disaster recovery processes

Resolve database performance and capacity issues

Required Qualifications:

5 + years of relevant work experience
U.S Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Proven work experience as a Database Administrator

Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, and integrity
Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding
Proficient in database software/web applications
