Purpose

Duties & Responsibilities
Attend all required trainings, consultations, and supervisions to become certified/qualified in Functional Family Therapy (FFT) and Family Check-Up (FCU) delivery.
Provide home- and community-based services to identified at-risk families.
Implement the FFT and FCU models using motivational interviewing, family systems principles, and parent skills training.
Build strong, trusting relationships with youth and caregivers to support engagement and long-term success.
Collaborate with agency staff, case managers, and community partners through meetings, consultations, and regular communication.
Connect families to appropriate community resources and follow-up services.
Act as a positive role model and uphold the Life Push brand of excellence in all interactions.
Respect cultural differences and support each familys right to self-determination and independence.
Attend required supervisions, company meetings, and participate in both internal and external presentations.
Contribute to special company programs and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Bachelors degree (4-year) in human services, counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field required.
Minimum 2 years of experience preferred in counseling, mental health, or family support programs.
Must be able and willing to work flexible hours (afternoons, evenings, and some weekends).
Must have a valid drivers license, good driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
Must successfully pass multiple background checks.
Willingness to travel throughout Harrisonburg and Rockingham County to provide services.
Strong communication, listening, and motivational interviewing skills.
Patience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity when working with diverse family systems.
Ability to meet deadlines, maintain client safety, and uphold confidentiality.
Commitment to professional development and model fidelity through ongoing supervision and training

Primary Function:

Must be 18 years of age.
