ARISE/ Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a DirectSupportProfessional to work in the Syracuse area with a man who requires assistance. The individual is looking for a dedicated staff to provide him with support and assist him with maintaining his independence both at home and in community settings. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting with general independence, light housekeeping, and meal preparation.
We are looking for individuals who are reliable, patient, and enthusiastic. Prior experience a plus. Reliable transportation and a HS diploma/GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.
This is a back-up/on call position to fill in for staff that call out on occasion. This position also has potential to transition into permanent hours in the future.
