Adjunct Faculty teach part-time, advise and mentor students. Hiring needs are dependent on student enrollment and course schedules. Courses available may be during days, evenings, weekends or online. Essential Job Functions:

Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
* Experience with the Adult Education student populations.
* Experience teaching either English as a Second Language, Reading, or Math at the K-12 or pre-college level.

Qualifications
General Qualifications:
* Possess a Bachelor's Degree (Education) or related field. Illinois Teaching Certificate.

* Required to participate in organized and continuous training.
* Recruit participants and schedule training programs with clients and community partners.
* Deliver approved curriculum content in urban areas.
* Document and report program outcomes and impacts.
* Follow program guidelines outlined in the Extension-funded grant and use approved nutrition content.
* Maintain records, collect data and gather evaluation feedback for reports.
* Implement office management procedures and public relations effort to promote programs effectively.
Minimum Position Requirements (including years of experience, certifications, licenses, etc.):
