You will support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable. You will manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER. Refer to EHS guidance regarding employee incidents. You can be a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations associated with pandemic threats within the local community as indicated by EHS or Medical Affairs. The EMT-Paramedic will respond to EMS calls as assigned by the communications center observing the policies of Trans-Care on “out of chute” and “end of shift” time. The EMT-Paramedic will operate and oversee the operation of his or her partner of the assigned vehicle under the rules of the State of Indiana and the policies of Trans- Care. The EMT-Paramedic will know and follow all Trans-Care policies and procedures regarding normal operations and treat all Trans-Care customers, patients, fellow employees and/or vendors with honesty and respect according to Trans-Care's Code of Conduct. The EMT-Paramedic will observe a strict standard of patient confidentiality regarding the access, possession or transmission of Personal health information (PHI) per Trans-Care's privacy policies designed to protect such information from access by unauthorized persons.
