Florida State College at Jacksonville Leadership

I serve as the Director of Network Services & Data Security of a six person team reporting to the Executive Director of Information Technology & Chief Security & Compliance Officer with responsibility for Data Center operations and management of the College's Cisco wired and wireless Infrastructure, Public IP addressing space, Eaton 9395 225 KVA UPS's, SourceFire IDS\​IPS security, ForeScout Network Access Control, Cisco ASA Firewalls, Voice over IP phone system, WebEx on premise, Cisco Jabber, Cisco Digital Media Manager, Ccure IP door lock system, Milestone IP camera security, IT specifications for cabling and fiber installations and Cisco TelePresence in a 7/24/365 environment. I am responsible for budget planning and manage over $9.5 Million in Infrastructure equipment. I am also responsible for developing a refresh plan for all equipment. I continually maintain relationships with technology vendors and industry peers as well as participating in bids, Requests for Proposals and contract negotiations. The College is a technologically advanced, highly complex, multi-campus urban and higher education environment serving an enrollment of over 60,000 students across 5 major campuses and multiple centers, and consisting of over 10,000 computers and over 300,000 user accounts. The wireless footprint covers 100% of college space.
