Job purpose
To assist the server in ongoing tasks such as polishing silverware, glassware, running food, clearing tables, resetting tables and so on. The back waiter will be a strong support system for the FOH.
Duties and responsibilities
Clear tables while following CYC Steps of Service
Reset tables according to next day reservations
Deliver appropriate silverware to tables dependent upon course
Water tables upon Member's arrival and throughout meal
Assist server with running food to the table
Polish all silverware
Polish all glassware
Deliver bread to each table
Relay all orders to appropriate server
Full knowledge of table numbers and seat numbers
Full knowledge of silverware resets dependent upon meal
Able to answer all questions or requests
Detailed oriented keeping the dining room clean and orderly
Keeping up with personal hygiene based upon Club standards
Able to perform tasks individually and as a team
Goal oriented and willing to take initiative
Takes responsibility and pride for their work
Able to think critically during times of high stress
Physically able to lift 50lbs, be on your feet for a long period of time
Keep uniform nice, neat and pressed if needed
