Position Summary
An integral part of the Guest Services Team, the Mountain Host Supervisor leads the volunteer Mountain Host program in Winter at Mt. Bachelor, playing a crucial role in enhancing guest experience. This position oversees the selection, training, and management of volunteer Mountain Hosts, ensuring they provide exceptional service and accurate information to guests about Mt. Bachelor and Central Oregon. This position requires a deep understanding of Mt. Bachelor's operations to best serve and inform guests, as well as strong leadership skills to manage the volunteer program effectively.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities
Volunteer Management
Oversee the selection and supervision of approximately 100+ Mountain Host volunteers.
Provide initial and ongoing training, coaching, and encouragement.
Conduct routine audits to ensure program goals are met, with follow-up improvement directives.
Create and maintain a positive environment, differentiating between volunteerism and employment.
Operational Leadership
Set goals and standards for the Mountain Host Program and audit routinely to ensure that they are being met.

Guest Experience Enhancement

Secondary Function
The Mountain Host Supervisor must maintain a working knowledge of all Guest Service functions at Mt. Bachelor and may be asked to support with other supervisory tasks within the Guest Services department, as needed.
Partner with the Mt. Bachelor Pro Ski Patrol for pre-season department trainings and Safety Certifications.

Evergreen School District seeks a Food Preparer to join one of the leading K-8 school districts in the state of Montana. Evergreen's mission is to enable students to become responsible citizens and lifelong learners by ensuring quality instruction in a nurturing environment. The Food Preparer assists and supports the Food Services Program with a variety of duties. This position reports directly to the Food Services Director.
Preferred Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Experience in volume food preparation
Current knowledge of large quantity food preparation principles, policies, equipment, sanitation and safety procedures
Willing to obtain a State & Local ServSafe certificate
Current valid driver's license preferred
Job Responsibilities:
Organize and prep planned breakfast and/or lunch menus
Communicate directions to staff as needed
Prepare food for transport
Assist in serving and cleanup
Clean and sanitize dishes
Maintain inventory and supplies
Store food/foodstuffs properly
Operate kitchen equipment safely and properly
Maintain inventory of food, supplies and equipment and ordering (as needed)
Check food deliveries (as needed)
Receive input from student groups regarding meal preferences
Implement regular sanitation procedures
Additional job responsibilities may be assigned:
Transport bulk food items in an efficient and prompt manner
Transport mail between various district buildings as directed

Ability to communicate and give clear directions to others

The Server is responsible for delivering an exceptional, personalized dining experience that embodies the Core Values of The Ranch at Rock Creek. This role requires a balance of technical service excellence and genuine hospitality. The Server must anticipate guest needs, demonstrate command of the culinary program, and execute service consistent with our Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star and Relais & Châteaux standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide a highly personalized experience by greeting guests by name, anticipating preferences, and adhering to all dietary restrictions and allergies.
Execute flawless steps of service throughout the dining experience, balancing professional etiquette with authentic engagement.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, quality standards, and presentation. Articulate the story behind the food and beverage offerings to guests.
Maintain strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and beers. Strictly adhere to all state liquor regulations, including the prevention of service to minors or intoxicated persons.
Maintain mastery of table numbers, room capacities, operating hours, and standard table setups. Effectively utilize the POS system for accurate order entry.
Review and execute requirements based on daily Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and guest itineraries.
Maintain impeccable cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned stations and service areas. Perform all opening and closing duties as assigned.
Review daily specials and maintain real-time awareness of menu availability throughout the shift.
Communicate efficiently with the culinary team, events staff, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Skills and Competencies
Demonstrated ability to learn, retain, and execute complex service protocols with precision. Must be open to feedback and coaching regarding Forbes standards.
Ability to anticipate guest needs and read social cues before requests are made.
