Specific Job Responsibilities The Server will be responsible for the food and beverage offerings at our Breakfast Restaurant, Luke & Lara. Further duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greeting and seating guests Taking food and beverage orders and accurately entering them into the POS system Making food and beverage menu item recommendations Providing attentive service to diners, like refilling drinks as needed and checking their needs during meals Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order Issuing guests with their check on request, and greeting and thanking them sincerely on departure Ensuring beverages are served swiftly and replenished continuously Checking on guests to establish satisfaction with the product and overall experience Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, and being alert to guest spills or other special needs Taking charge of restaurant opening, closing and other side duties as directed by any of the food and beverage managers. Working Hours The hours may vary due to business needs and the needs of the operation. Starting time varies between 5am and 530am. Working Environment As a Server standing and walking for extended periods of time will be required. You will also have to be comfortable working in a confined work area with multiple associates. The cleaning, maintaining and stocking of the restaurant will also require crouching, reaching and light lifting throughout the shift.
