Job DescriptionJob Title: Leasing Specialist - Fairbanks, AK Employer: TDL Staffing Pay: $20/hour DOE Schedule: Monday-Friday, generally 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (some flexibility may be required) TDL Staffing is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Leasing Specialist to support leasing operations at a residential community in Fairbanks. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys assisting residents, maintaining organized records, and ensuring compliance with housing regulations. The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, and able to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist prospective residents by explaining qualification requirements and gathering required paperwork Collect and handle personal and confidential information with professionalism and sensitivity Conduct property tours, respond to inquiries, and support applicants through the leasing process Prepare and process rental applications while ensuring documentation meets LIHTC and Fair Housing standards Maintain organized leasing files and waitlists in compliance with company policies Communicate professionally with residents, applicants, and community partners Assist with resident engagement activities and community events Complete initial certifications, recertifications, and file audits with a high level of accuracy Review income, asset, and eligibility documentation for compliance purposes Enter and maintain leasing data, reports, and rent rolls in property management software Support general office and administrative needs, including inspections, notices, and marketing efforts Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; further education preferred 2-3 years of customer service or leasing experience; affordable housing/property management experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (Yardi, RealPage, etc.) Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional, mature temperament with the ability to handle sensitive situations Pre-employment drug screening required Background screening is a part of the hiring process Helpful Skills & Experience: Experience with affordable housing or LIHTC compliance Familiarity with RealPage or similar property management systems LIHTC certifications (HCCP, C3P, SHCM) or related training Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ready to get started?
