Your Opportunity
Manage daily operations to ensure alignment of system needs and staff to exceed expectations for product delivery.
Core Responsibilities
* Responsible to ensure semen is transported from the producer (boar stud) to the customer (sow farm) while adhering to all Smithfield Hog Production policies and procedures (includes safety, biosecurity, and HR).
* Communicates orders from the customer to the producer in a timely manner to ensure orders are filled.
* Responsible for maintaining the fleet of vehicles to ensure they are safe for drivers and suitable to transport semen.
* Maintain the semen depot including logging temperatures from the time of pick up to the time of delivery of semen.
* Makes daily decisions of adjusting routes due to inclement weather and communicates schedules to customers.
* Responsible for scheduling the 16 delivery routes while making certain to adhere to strict biosecurity guidelines.
* Oversee couriers to ensure timely delivery of semen across system.
* Support and develop a high-performing team that collaboratively achieves goals and exceeds all company expectations through cross-training and effective scheduling.
* Actively implement and improve a delivery team that exceeds implementation system that meets expectations relating to service and cost.
* Participate in the production forecasting to actively manage contingency, depop/repop and supply logistics.
* Create and lead a culture of high biosecurity implementation.
* Develop culture where employees can express concerns by listening and reacting to provide necessary resources to do job safely and biosecure.
* Generate and report the weekly KPI's.
* Manage vehicle fleet by maintaining regular service and project replacement needs of vehicles.
* Incumbent will be responsible for understanding and complying with company SIPS, EMS and BMS policies and procedures while performing their job duties.
* Report all environmental issues immediately to their supervisor.
* Read and understand the company's emergency notification process and will be responsible for reviewing that policy at their work site.
Qualifications

**Job Summary**

ABSI is seeking an experienced Logistics Analyst to support the Intelligent Robotic Autonomous Systems (IRAS) Program Manager and Senior SUAS Remote Pilot Team Lead. The Logistics Analyst will play a critical role in overseeing government property (GP), IRAS equipment management, and logistical support activities related to training operations at Camp Lejeune, NC.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Logistics analyst will be responsible for:
Support the Responsible Officer (RO)/ Responsible Individual (RI) in maintaining government property (GP) databases and executing GP inventories
Assist in full Life Cycle Management of all GP accountability from initial receipt to formal relief
Conduct initial inventory, op-check, and formal induction of newly received GP and equipment
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on requisition management and customer demand handling within GP databases ensuring seamless operations and accurate inventory control
Execute logistics tasks, including but not limited to:
Managing property management control systems
Drafting transfer documentation (i.e. Memorandum for Record (MFR), Key Supporting Documentation (KSD), Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL), DD1348, DD1149)
Providing oversight into the transportation, storage, and disposal of GP
Supporting supply logistics including packaging, handling, and movement of end items and training support equipment
Maintain and update all GP and supply inventories on a quarterly basis or when required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess a bachelor's degree in business administration, management or related business discipline
In lieu of a degree, eight (8) years of experience in supply chain, logistics, and inventory/property management, preferably in a Department of War (DoW) or USMC environment
Must have a valid U.S. Driver's License
Capability of lifting and carrying 50 lbs. unassisted for short distances, standing and walking without rest for at least 1 hour, as well as performing required functions outdoors in variable conditions
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Expert knowledge of supply and property management systems to include Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC), COLTS, Special Operations LogisticsManagement System (SOLMAN), and Defense Priorities & Allocations System (DPAS)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based collaborative resources such as SharePoint and Microsoft Teams preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
