Assist provider with procedures. Act as a chaperone when necessary. Assist patient in identifying and seeking help for specific problems. Provide education, within scope, regarding health issues the patient is involved with. This will be under the direction of the M.D. Schedule additional laboratory tests and make outside referral appointments (to hospitals) with direction from the medical provider.
