Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking Sr. Principal Engineer Software. This position will be located in Colorado Springs,CO and will support the Sentinel program.
The successful candidate will be a motivated software developer who is comfortable with both front and back-end programming as well as identifying COTS candidates. Full Stack Developers are responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties. Full Stack Developers will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Basic Qualifications:

This position would be based in Colorado Springs,Colorado with 50% travel to DARC site 1 located in Australia. This role will be a critical member of the Software deployment team that will be responsible for deploying, debugging, and implementing corrective actions to ensure a stable and operable DARC system. These positions are expected to travel up to 60 days at a time and act as a SW subject matter experts during formal integration and testing of the DARC System.
Job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Install and deploy DARC SW on the DARC System.
Document and report back on problem or deficiency reports.
Collaborate with the SW team located back in Colorado Springs to effectively troubleshoot, and debug SW identified SW issues.
