• Direct processing activities which include: Crushing / sizing of limestone, stockpiling of kiln feed, processing of limestone in preheater rotary kiln, sizing, handling and storage of quicklime, processing of quicklime in hydrator system, scheduling of different hydrate product runs - product loadout, cleanup and other waste handling activities.
• Coordinate the consistent supply of sufficient rock to supply the lime kiln, ensuring that all quality parameters are met.

• Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to coordinate and schedule routine maintenance for process unit operations.
• Coordinate and schedule refractory repairs for annual kiln shutdown.
• Monitor process parameters to ensure maximum efficiency and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate and supervise quality control procedures for all assigned operations.
• Recommend equipment and process modifications to improve efficiencies and costs.

ENVIRONMENT
The consumer contact center is responsible for generating and processing sales for all consumer insurance products via telephone, direct sales, and the Internet. The Executive Director and Call Center Manager establish organizational policies, performance measures, as well as processes and procedures for selling and processing applications. The incumbent plans appropriate performance-related activities, including monitoring and coaching for improvement and providing timely feedback to Reps and Manager.
WORKFLOW
The incumbent's work is initiated by consumer sales corporate goals and objectives as established by the Executive Director and Call Center Manager. The incumbent continually supports the motivational elements and training of the staff to accomplish goals and provides the direct report assistance to ensure informational and resource availability. In addition, the Unit Manager is responsible for:
Ensuring department is fully staffed to handle Inbound and Outbound call volume, including implementing daily Inbound and Outbound schedules to maintain adequate phone coverage at all times;
Maintaining a 95% answer rate and ensuring Outbound data is being called on a timely basis;
Staff scheduling adherence, lead management, lead distribution, tracking data input integrity, streamlining sales processes, and procedures;
Coaching and providing continual feedback as well as motivating the team;
Participating in the hiring process, working closely with the Call Center Manger and Human Resources to identify those best suited to the work environment and positional needs; and,
Managing workflow processes associated with contact center functions, e.g. Outbound calling data, DRTV leads and application processes.
KNOWLEDGE
This position requires a bachelor's degree. Two years experience in an inside sales/telesales call center environment is preferred. An Alabama Health Insurance license will need to be obtained.
The ability to direct, motivate and develop an inside sales team for increased performance along with strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial. This ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic abilities to uncover Rep strengths and weaknesses, the ability to provide performance feedback regularly and effectively, and demonstrated motivational and team building capabilities along with a commitment to reaching the organization's goals. A strong knowledge of evolving sales techniques including consultative selling skills applied in a consumer-based sales environment is beneficial.
Possessing knowledge of marketing and selling in a consumer marketplace is a plus. Knowledge of call center automation tools aimed at streamlining workflow is highly beneficial.
THINKING REQUIREMENTS
The incumbent is responsible for formulating and executing sales performance review and enhancement programs. The operations are governed by underwriting guidelines, corporate and standard procedures, CMS regulations, FCC regulations, legal restrictions for the sale and service of contracts and business ethics. The incumbent organizes the day-to-day activities of the direct sales operation for the Consumer Insurance Resource Center.
