The RN Resource Team assesses, analyzes, plans, implements and evaluates patient care following established patient care standards for Legacy Health including those for patient assessment and transfer.
This job is paid at a flat rate plus appropriate differentials while working.
This position will float to Randall Children's Hospital - PICU, NICU and Pediatric Floors and Salmon Creek NICU.
Qualifications:
Education: As required by licensure. BSN or degree in progress strongly preferred. BSN may be required for specific assignments; experienced RNs without a BSN may be hired based on clinical experience with approval of the site CNO.
Experience: Three years registerednursing experience required.
Three years pediatric nursing experience required (NICU, PICU, Children's Emergency Department and/or Pediatrics). PALS required. NRP required within 6 months of hire.
Additional clinical experience requirements may vary dependent upon the specific department in which the position is utilized.

Experience in a Pediatric Cardiac Cath Lab
Minimum 2 years total Critical Care or like experience (PACU, ED)
Knowledge/experience related to moderate/conscious sedation administration and recovery, as well as anesthesia recovery
Knowledge/experience related to arterial and venous femoral access/sheath management
Knowledge/experience related to safe chemo precautions
Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing Degree from a program accredited by Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA)
Current, unencumbered Oregon State RegisteredNurse License
BLS and ACLS must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network branch of AHA (upload documentation with online application)
Communication skills including fluency in written and oral English
Ability to stand up to 4 hours without sitting
Ability to wear protective lead aprons for extended periods of time
Ability to tolerate moving throughout entire shift
Fast paced procedural environment, with often competing priorities and quick turn-over of patients
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
