Responsibilities
Position Summary
The Safety Management System (SMS) Specialist assists the Manager of SMS in the day-to-day management and facilitation of the advancement of the PSA SMS. This position will interact with company managers, executive leadership, industry cohorts and regulatory officials. The successful SMS Specialist will be a team player possessing excellent communication and organizational skills.
Job Responsibilities
* Assist in the maintenance of PSA's Safety Management System (SMS) Program.
* Interface with executive leadership to continuously improve SMS processes and safety policy around the SMS program.
* Promotes the SMS throughout the Company.
* Initiates and attends Safety Action Group (SAG) meetings as appropriate.
* Facilitate the drafting and finalization of all SMS Risk Assessments and Change Management forms.
* Responsible for input of SMS documentation into WBAT, K2 and Intelex.
* Monitors the effective implementation of policies, procedures and programs through the Safety Assurance Process.
* Develop and issue relevant SMS communication throughout the company.
* Prepare and deliver SMS training to company employees as needed.
* Maintain all SMS Training Records.
* Maintain positive and proactive relations with employees, company managers, executive leadership, industry cohorts and regulatory officials.
* Assist with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) and ensure compliance with all SMS related ISARPS.
* Work with and provide input into the Internal Evaluation Program (IEP).
* Assist in coordinating the operational safety of PSA Airlines.
* Support the company accident/incident and injury-reduction efforts by developing proactive and educational safety programs, sharing safety data and trends to reduce the frequency and severity of mishaps.
* Chairs the PSA Airlines Safety Committee.
* Assist with Safety Policies and Procedures Manual (SPPM). Oversee all updates, edits to the manual and coordinate with Technical Publications as necessary.
* Create a monthly SMS newsletter for Corporate Management employees to disseminate relevant safety and SMS information throughout the company.
* Create a quarterly newsletter containing relevant safety and SMS information for dissemination throughout the company.
* Assist with annual review of the SMS to evaluate the effectiveness of the system with all working groups.
* Prepare and distribute reports to federal, state and local safety authorities as required.
* Communicate safety programs, policies and procedures to management and employee groups.
* Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.

**Overview**
The HSE Manager is responsible for assisting in the overall supervision and administration of safety for Business Unit projects to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. Basic Qualifications
+ 0 - 2 years of relevant construction safety experience with an undergraduate degree in safety and health (or related discipline) or demonstrated construction safety and trade experience.

Overview
The HSE Manager is responsible for assisting in the overall supervision and administration of safety for Business Unit projects to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. Managing project safety efforts to prevent accidents and injuries while communicating details of safety conditions to the HSE Director and various levels of Business Unit supervision.
Responsibilities
Serves as primary point of contact for HSE related policies/practices within assigned region and project sites

Assisting in development of standardized job safety analysis (JSA), corporate safety and health management program (SHMP), as well as project specific safety plans (PSSP).

Qualifications Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related technical field.
7 years of previous construction experience.
1 year of previous experience as on-site safety person.
OSHA Outreach Trainer.
First Aid, CPR, and AED Trainer.
Working knowledge of government regulations, hazard control methods, and industrial hygiene.
Demonstrated ability to conduct training and influence organizational behavior.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications
BCSP certification(s): CSP, ASP, GSP, OHST, CHST
Travel Requirements
25-60% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.
Physical/Work Environment Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Climbing stairs.
Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.

Position Summary: The Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) will serve as the primary authority for planning, implementing, and enforcing the Contractor's Safety and Health Program under this potential contract supporting the 81st Readiness Division (RD). This position ensures all operational, maintenance, and environmental activities are conducted in strict compliance with federal, state, and local safety standards requirements.
The SSHO works collaboratively with the Program Manager (PM) and Quality Control Manager (QCM) to promote a unified safety and quality culture, perform enterprise-level risk assessments, and ensure consistent reporting and compliance across all 81st RD sites. This position is contingent upon contract award and is for a possible contract.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and enforce the Contractor's Safety and Health Program in accordance with contract requirements and applicable regulations.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EM 385-1-1, AR 420-1, and EO 14057 sustainability and environmental directives.
Conduct daily safety inspections, hazard analyses, and risk assessments for all ongoing site activities.
Prepare, maintain, and update all required Safety Plans, Accident Prevention Plans (APPs), and other safety documentation.
Provide regular safety briefings, toolbox talks, and safety-related training for all project personnel and subcontractors.
Investigate all incidents, accidents, and near-miss events, ensuring root-cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Maintain complete and accurate safety records, including logs, inspection reports, and incident summaries, for government review.
Coordinate closely with the PM and QCM to integrate safety performance into quality control and operational objectives.
Conduct enterprise-level trend analysis to identify risks and develop preventive measures across all supported sites.
Promote a strong, proactive safety culture emphasizing continuous improvement and employee engagement in safety initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 3 years of satisfactory experience in preparing and enforcing a Contractor's safety program on contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity within the past.
Must have successfully completed the 30-hour OSHA Safety Class or equivalent within the last three (3) years.
Must pass a background screen
Preferred Qualifications:
Dedicated safety professional certified in OSHA-30 and EM 385-1-1 compliance.
Advanced training in Behavior-Based Safety (BBS), AR 420-1 sustainability, and Executive Order (EO) 14057 environmental compliance.
Experience performing enterprise-level risk assessments and implementing preventive safety programs across multiple project locations.
Strong knowledge of federal safety management systems and Army Reserve environmental and occupational health programs.
Demonstrated ability to develop and lead proactive, data-driven safety initiatives that reduce risk and enhance organizational culture.
Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills with proven success in coordinating with PM and QCM for integrated safety-quality management.
