Responsibilities
Build VFX across all areas of the game ranging from environmental and character related FX to User Interface FX.
Author Particle VFX and shaders in the Unity Game Engine whilst making sure they are optimum for mobile and VR platforms.
Demonstrate creative solutions to technically challenging VFX requests.
Collaborate with Art Design and Engineering teams, offering creative and efficient solutions to help solve performance related issues.
Maintain clean, organized VFX and Shader libraries.
Clearly communicate updates and communicate timely concerns to the production team.
Qualifications
BA in Fine Arts or equivalent skillset.
Minimum of 4 years industry or related experience.
A portfolio that demonstrates an advanced standard of realtime VFX across all areas of the game ranging from environmental and character related FX to User Interface FX.
Expert level skills with particle systems and node based shader creation.
Proficient with Photoshop, Maya, Max or Houdini.
Experience having published 2 or more games.
Self driven - actively improves skill set and abilities by keeping aware of industry trends and techniques, evaluating high-reaching products and learning new software packages.

Every day you will attend Lighting Dailies with the Director of Cinematography and the lighting/FX/matte team. Responsibilities:
Utilizing paint skills to create original 2D, 2.5D, and 3D content that may comprise part or all of an environment, sky, or element.
Use both traditional and emergent approaches for creating digital environments to either supplement or complement traditional 2D/3D rendered elements.
Use artistic and technical skills to aid in shot finaling pertaining to backgrounds, sets, mattes, and FX to bring the final image/shot to completion in the final composite
Maintain a stylized yet photographic sense of lighting, perspective, and color referring to the style guides and direction of the current show.
Attend dailies with the Lighting/Matte/VFX department for reviews of all incoming dailies from overseas, as well as contribute in reviews of all internal shot work.
Present progress of all work in dailies for notes and address any notes given in dailies to achieve final approval.
Communicate daily with the department production manager for progress updates.
Research, collect, and catalog reference imagery that pertains to upcoming lighting/ matte tasks.
When requested, attend meetings with internal teams and external development teams.
Basic Qualifications:
General knowledge of Maya, Arnold, and Nuke or similar compositing software such as Natron or After Effects.
Strong knowledge of Photoshop
Strong understanding of color theory
Strong sense of graphic composition
Diverse background painting portfolio showcasing different types of locations and different painting styles
Strong understanding of basic photographic methods (film/exposure/light ratio)
Ability to adapt within a very fast paced schedule, and rapid turnaround on given direction
Ability to light/render/comp elements together into a completed final shot
Broad knowledge of film and art history
Ability to take direction from notes given and eagerness to learn new skills
Preferred Qualifications:

The hiring range for this position in San Francisco is $67,900.00-$86,900.00 per year. OVERVIEW
LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired, headquartered in Napa, is looking for a On-Call Food Service Associate to primarily support our Enchanted Hills our retreat center and summer camp located in Napa, CA. This position provides flexible support across multiple roles, including Front of House Associate, Dishwasher, and Prep Cook. This position requires adaptability, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high-standards of service and cleanliness.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Front of House (FOH Associate)
Facilitating daily operations in the dining room.
Setting Tables/Bussing Tables
Cleaning Multiple Areas Including but not limited to:
Dining Tables and Chairs
Busing Station
Coffee Station
Serving Station
Assist the kitchen in plating and serving food whether it is family style, buffet, or plated meals.
Maintain a clean coffee station that is continuously stocked.
Maintain cleanliness throughout all Front-of-House (FOH) areas, including, emptying trash, removing all trash from dining room.
Assistkitchen staff withadditionaltasking if needed, which could include:
Cleaning surfaces
Mopping
Sweeping
Labeling and storing food

Maintain cleanliness throughout all Back-of-House (BOH) areas, including sweeping, emptying trash, mopping, deck brushing, and squeegeeing
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area
Assistkitchen staff with food prep as directed

Respond to guests with 2 minutes of requestion with 90 percent positive feedback
Dining room fully cleaned to be rest with 45 mins after meal ends
Arrives on time 95 percent for each shift completes all assigned tasks and side work
Dishwasher
Rack Turnover: Load, Wash, and Unload a FULL rack of dishes on pace of 3 mins per rack
Sink Washing: Hand washing items with proper 3 compartment sink protocols,maintaininga wash rate of 45 seconds per item
Sanitation Compliance:
Spotless Rate-Maintaininga spotless rate of 95 percent of the time on all dishes washed the first time.
Cleaning-Complete all cleaning logspertaining torole, to acceptable standards once a shift.
Soap Usage-Using correctsoaps, andcleaning chemicals 100 percent of the time.
Storage-Put away 100 percent dishes cleaned on shift
Disposal-Check all garbage's once an hour and empty if 75 percent full.
QUALIFICATIONS
Validated knowledge of basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations
Demonstrated basic math and counting skills
Ability to follow directions and a willingness to ask clarifying questions
Ability to communicate in written and spoken English
Interest in learning and expanding skill set
Compliance with dress code requirements
High volume experience in any restaurant, fast-casual, or cafeteria setting
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Mustpossessorhave the ability toobtain a valid CA food handler permit
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays
