Develops procedures and plant arrangements to ensure proper material handling and storage. Reviews engineering designs for manufacturing feasibility and recommends changes as necessary. Determines manufacturing processes. Determines and develops standard operation times, conducts various cost studies. Prepares and implements capital budget items. Designs and implements shop tooling and fixtures. Create step by step work instructions for product build. Design tooling required for assembly of production units. May direct the activities of small group of employees. Performs other duties as assigned. Manufacturing Engineer Project Manager Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field Three (3) years minimum experience as a manufacturing engineer in a machine shop environment Knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes, gearing, NC programming (preferably with Esprit CAM System), and tool design utilizing a CAD based system. Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing experience PMP training required PMP certification preferred Familiar with Microsoft project or similar project management software.
