Provide technical subject matter expert support for safety incident investigations involving bulk customer installations. Ensure that all engineering deliverables related to CES design are provided on-time, and with the agreed quality. Provide proposals in response to Markets requests on-time, and with the agreed quality. Ensure promised project scopes are defined appropriately and consistent with Messer practices. Work closely with vendors, CES, Apps PX, or Large Projects PX to identify the best asset and installation support model for each need. Ensure that the Director, CES is properly appraised of short- and medium-term issues with both the members of the team and the proposals/engineering efforts in execution. Maintain strong awareness of industry codes and changes, participate as required in CGA committees and other industry efforts as needed, or delegate to team members as appropriate. Ensure that CES bulk customer installation standards and procedures are aligned with industry best practices and national codes. Lead Engineering Management of Change for CES bulk cryogenic and CO2 customer sites. Fulfil role as EMOC Change Manager for bulk customer installations. Ownership and management of CES proposal design, reporting, and tracking tools (i.e. HAL, Monday.com) and alignment of those tools with IT best practices for sustainability as required. Technical qualification and quality management of bulk storage equipment key suppliers; provides technical support/input to Procurement with respect to supplier agreements. Identification of multiple suppliers for all key assets. Departmental cost and discipline management Recruiting and training engineers to maintain and expand Messer's capabilities is a key requirement of this position; leadership for development of the team personnel and that team's collaboration with the larger CES and Messer organizations Assist in the development of annual CAPEX and OPEX budgets as required. We are engineering the data path for a highly available, AI-designed security fabric that protects applications across public clouds, private data centers, and physical environments. This team is building segmented firewalling directly in the data plane-a first-of-its-kind innovation not available elsewhere in the industry. Responsibilities (Vary by Role & Experience): Our Pavement Engineering team is involved in the full life-cycle of projects. Depending on your experience level and the specific role, your responsibilities could include: Project Execution & Technical Work: Performing, coordinating, and managing fieldwork operations. Analyzing diverse field data (including GPR, FWD, and distress surveys). Developing pavement design recommendations using methodologies such as the 1993 AASHTO Pavement Design Guide, AASHTO Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide, AASHTOWare Pavement-ME, and FAARFIELD. Assisting in or leading the preparation of technical project reports. Engaging in various project types, including pavement testing, evaluation, design, and management. Leadership & Management (for senior roles): Providing technical oversight and optimizing processes within the Pavement Engineering practice. Managing multiple, concurrent projects, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence. Preparing comprehensive technical and cost proposals. Supervising, mentoring, and developing engineers and other technical staff. Contributing to the growth of the practice area through marketing, business development, and client relations. Performing Quality Assurance (QA) of technical deliverables. Qualifications & Skills: We are seeking candidates with a strong foundation in civil engineering and a keen interest in pavements. Core Requirements for All Candidates: o B.S.C.E. degree or higher. o Proficiency in technical writing and verbal communication. o Proficiency with the MS Office suite. o A proactive attitude and ability to "hit the ground running." o Familiarity and working knowledge with AIDs advanced technologies (as described above) are highly desirable. For Technical Lead/Project Manager Roles (Senior-Level): o At least 10 years of progressive experience in the pavement engineering consulting industry. o Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required. o Thorough, practical, and in-depth knowledge of pavement engineering principles and design methodologies. o Proven experience in project management, proposal preparation, and staff supervision. o Experience with pavement management and related software is a plus. o Familiarity and working knowledge with Artificial Intelligence technologies are desirable. Compensation & Benefits: AID offers a competitive compensation package tailored to your experience and the role you fit: For senior-level roles (e.g., Technical Lead/Project Manager), the anticipated pay range is $130,000 - $170,000 per year. Higher compensation may be considered for candidates who bring exceptional credentials and value. For other engineering roles, pay will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications, relevant experience, and education. All full-time positions include a comprehensive benefits package.
