Sentinel Real Estate Leadership

John H. Streicker is the Chairman of Sentinel and a member of both the Executive Committee and the Investment Committee. He joined the firm in 1976 as Chief Investment Officer. Prior to joining Sentinel, Mr. Streicker was President of the Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette subsidiary responsible for property investments for tax-exempt clients. Prior to that, he was Director of Investment Finance at ITT Levitt & Sons Multifamily Division and held an associate position at the New York law firm of Root, Barrett, Cohen, Knapp & Smith. Mr. Streicker received an AB from Princeton University and a JD from Yale Law School. Most recently, he received a degree of Doctor of Humane Letters (honoris causa) from the City University of New York. Mr. Streicker is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Business Executives for National Security (BENS) and was a member of the boards of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers and the Yale Law School Foundation. He is also a member of the board of the Graduate Center Foundation of the City University of New York and he has served on the Board of Directors of the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE), as Chairman of Manhattan’s Community Board #5 and as adjunct professor at Yale’s School of Organization and Management. Mr. Streicker is Chairman and founder of the Wildlife Australia Fund and owner of Clairault Wines and Streicker Wines, both based in the Margaret River region of Australia. He is a Board Member of the Australian American Leadership Dialogue.
