Greets guests and presents them with the menu. Informs guests of specials and menu changes, suggestively sells, and answers questions regarding food, beverages and service.
Takes food orders from guests and relays to kitchen staff.

Serves courses from kitchen and service areas promptly, and garnishes items with proper presentation prior to serving.
Totals bill and either accepts payment or refers guest to cashier.
Assists in stocking workstation, bussing tables and resetting tables.

Job Description
The role of Restaurant Host upholds the welcoming atmosphere that defines our hospitality. As a key member of our Auberge family, your role is to provide exceptional service, ensuring a positive experience for our guests from arrival to departure.
Greet guests warmly, provide courteous service and efficiently handle check-ins and seating.

THE ROLE
This is a hands-on position, providing the highest degree of professional catering service to guests with the goal of achieving customer satisfaction and retention.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Reports for work in proper uniform according to the scheduled time.
Follows instructions for each event as given by the Food & Beverage Manager and/or Banquet Captain.
