Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITES:

* Verifies and maintains accuracy of perpetual inventory records and Storeroom inventory transactions.
* Prepares, submits and tracks part requisitions and ensures proper receiving into Storeroom by working with receiving suppliers for accurate description of parts.
* Conducts monthly cycle counts.
* Generation of new part numbers for spare parts.
* Identify and drive disposition of obsolete and slow-moving inventory.
* Maintains Storeroom areas in an organized, orderly fashion.
* Administrative support to scheduler/ buyer.
* Communicate with suppliers regarding the price and delivery of Repair & Maintenance Items.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
* High School Diploma Required
* At least 2 years' manufacturing experience.
* Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
WORKING CONDITIONS:
* The area may or may not be air conditioned or heated and may be humid and hot or cold depending on seasonal conditions.
* Exposure to hot and/or abrasive surfaces.
* Required to be in tight spaces on occasion and to heights daily.
* Possible exposure to noise levels over 90 decibels for 8 hours at certain locations.
* Moving machinery or moving objects on the production floor.
* Exposure to chemicals which may cause eye or skin irritation and/or bums, and irritation to respiratory system.

Job Summary
The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for the inventory control of finished goods as well as raw materials. In addition, this position will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy.
Job Responsibilities
* Reconciliation of receiving /purchasing documentation. Distribute documentation to accounting/purchasing department once information has been verified and received
* Ensure all deliveries are properly received and posted in company ERP system
* Report daily material movement to accounting in order to accurately reflect used quantity within the production process
* Work with accounting and plant management ensure critical supply (min/man), inventory cycle counts done either monthly or quarterly using required tag controls and test counts
* Ensure all items in the warehouse are appropriately received and stored (This would include working with the material handling coordinator to ensure contract specific items are separated, counted, and properly stored)
* Identify and report to management slow-moving inventory and obsolete material
* See to proper inventory to ensure customers' demands are met in the most efficient manner obtainable
* Work with cross-functional teams in the plant to ensure continuity and streamlined processes related to material handling, inventory control, and valid documentation
Job Requirements
* Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
* Inventory control experience
* Proficiency with MS Office Software
* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day
