This is a temporary position, working with children 5 through 15 years of age. Assistant Site Supervisors are responsible for supporting day-to-day camp operations, administrative duties, supervision and safety of all summer camp program participants. The essential functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the class as necessary. * Provide leadership to camp counselors and campers. * Ensure the staff is complying with policies and procedures set by The City of Deerfield Beach. Site Supervisors are responsible for day-to-day camp operations, administrative duties, supervision and safety of all participants in summer camp program. The essential functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the class as necessary. * Provide leadership to camp counselors and campers. * Lead staff to deal with communication to parents. * Lead staff to deal with both emergency and non-emergency health issues such as lice, flu, bloody noses, etc. * Ensure the staff is complying with policies and procedures set by The City of Deerfield Beach.
