Assist in the collecting and organizing of reports required by the Career Technical Education for the CTE students in the assigned classes. Work cooperatively with CTE teachers, campus administrators, counselors, and CTE administration to provide high-quality instructional support for CTE students. Coordinate instructional activities with classroom teacher to assist in student's preparation of industry-based state licenses and certificates and CTE dual enrollment courses. Assist in making parent contacts as appropriate and within the confines of academic issues of the student. Direct social/emotional issues to appropriate pupil services personnel. Direct student in need of further assistance to the appropriate pupil services personnel (counselor, social worker, administrator, psychologist, etc.). Participate in appropriate professional development activities scheduled by the Career Technical Education Program. Maintain the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of fully licensed teacher. Assist in clerical duties in relation to correspondence regarding the students in the Career Technical Education Program. Follow McAllen ISD customer service standards. Perform other duties assigned by immediate supervisor (primary evaluator).
