Mark A. Franzen, Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Franzen has thirty-five years of experience in top-level accounting and corporate financial assignments for a wide variety of high-technology, high growth, clean tech, venture capital backed and distressed companies. Mr. Franzen has been the Chief Financial Officer of sixteen companies, five which were public (Level One, Digital Sound Corporation, MTI Technology Corp, PivX and American Mold Guard). Level One was taken through a $45 million IPO and then later was sold to Intel in a $1 billion plus transaction. Eight of the companies (Micro Peripherals, Inc., Y Media, Storage Concepts, Expersoft, UniStructure, Calios, Computers International, and UniPrise) were sold or merged as a part of the exit strategy. Three companies, PivX, Fortune Oil and Gas, and American Mold Guard, went public through a reverse merger into a public shell. Over fifty percent of the companies had international operations in Europe and/or the Far East. Mr. Franzen has raised in excess of $250 million for equity capital, $100 million in bank lines and $50 million in capital lease lines. Prior to becoming a CFO, Mr. Franzen was a Senior Manger at Price Waterhouse & Co. He is a non-practicing Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Franzen is currently on the Board of Directors of two operating companies and one charity.
