JOB DESCRIPTION
The Superintendent will have a strong track record of completing Ground Up Multifamily Construction, ensuring their successful delivery within schedule and budget along with the ability to manage vendors, subcontractors, field staff throughout project.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
8-20 years of construction management and/or craft supervisor experience
Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience
Exceptional knowledge of construction processes and procedures; ability to successfully manage complex projects through to completion

Perform complex re-design and development efforts for control, electrical, and software systems of theme park Venues to provide increased safety, reliability and operational improvements. Duties include supporting downtime recovery, troubleshooting, conducting fault analysis, completing redesign assignments, performing test and start-up integration, and working as a Ride Engineer. Duties also include writing and reviewing software (PLCs and Smart Relays) and hardware for new control systems for safety, security, and reliability, evaluating risk assessments, and preforming configuration management of hardware/software. All work shall be in conformance with ASTM F24 Committee Guidelines and compliant with applicable codes, regulations and standards including: AISC, ASME, ASTM, ANSI, AWS, IEEE, JIC, NEC, NEMA, NFPA, OSHA, etc.
Responsible for assigned Controls Engineers (Assoc, Engr I, Engr II, and Engr III) and their efforts to perform moderately complex re-design and development projects for electrical, software, and/or control systems of Venues. Will ensure that their assigned Engineers support Venue downtime recovery, troubleshooting, fault analysis, re-design assignments (hardware and software), complex electrical/control systems to improve safety, testing, start-up integration, etc. Will ensure that the assigned Engineer work conforms to ASTM F24 Committee Guidelines and all other applicable codes. This position will provide mentorship, leadership, and project direction for the assigned Engineers. This includes reviewing written documents (ECN, DCN, Bulletins, etc.), ensuring the Engineering Tasks are completed, assessing the Engineer performance, and ensuring the Engineer completes all mandatory safety training classes and other assigned duties.
Will support Engineering Management with the hiring, training, scheduling, development, and performance reviews of the Engineers. The position will also assist Engineering Management in developing and controlling the department budget and other related requests.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Will lead re-engineering efforts for Venues for complex control, electrical, and software systems to improve safety including writing and reviewing software/hardware. Will provide assigned Engineers support with designs, drawings, evaluation, and calculations to improve reliability, operational readiness, cost of ownership, and quality. Interacts with UO Ride/Show Maintenance Departments for prioritizing project tasks and training initiatives to improve ride reliability and operational readiness. All work shall be in conformance with ASTM F24 Guidelines, applicable codes, regulations and standards.
+ Supervise assigned Engineers to effectively provide the highest standards of safety, reliability and quality for the Venues, ensuring that appropriate support is provided with Venue downtime recovery, troubleshooting, fault analysis, testing, start-up integration, etc. Ensure the Engineer's work is in compliance with all ASTM F24 Guidelines, applicable codes, regulations and standards.
+ Support Engineering Management with the hiring, training, scheduling, and development of the Engineers. The Supervisor will also assist Engineering Management in developing and controlling the department budget and other related requests.
+ Provide Engineering leadership and guidance for non-routine problems requiring substantial judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and adaptation of Engineering's procedures, i.e., Production shoots, HHN construction, special events, etc.
+ Assist Engineering Management in the creation and modification of policies / procedures for the Engineering Department while setting tone, establishing a vision, providing direction, and enforcing policy/procedure.
+ Coordinate and facilitate intra-department partners and external resources to encourage friendly working relationships for everyone including: Environmental Health & Safety, Facilities, Finance, Human Resources, Horticultural, Water Quality, Operations, Security, and outside vendors.
+ Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

SCOPE:
Responsible for you and your Engineering Team's completion and implementation of complex re-design and development efforts of all Venue systems to provide increased reliability and operational improvements. Review and evaluate Venue systems, components, and technologies with a focus on guest and Team Member safety. Responsible for you and your Engineering Team to provide sustaining (electrical/controls) engineering support for all UO Areas and Venues on a 24/7/365 basis. Provide immediate support to any UO emergency.
EDUCATION:
+ High school degree or GED is required.
+ Bachelor's degree is required in Controls, Electrical, Electronic, Network, or related field.
+ Master's degree is preferred in Controls, Electrical, Electronic, Network, or related field.
EXPERIENCE:
+ 5-7 years demonstrated project engineering experience of electrical engineering, control systems design and installation in an engineering environment for the development of dynamic motion (mobile) systems in a theme park industry

Job Purpose:

Supervise and manage customer service operations, including utility billing, business tax receipts, collections, service cut-offs, and cashier functions.
