* Support general education teachers in implementing IEP requirements to ensure FAPE (Free Appropriate Public Education).
* Collect and maintain documentation associated with IEPs, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
* Gather student data for IEP and MET meetings, track and report progress on IEP goals.
* Prepare and submit accurate, timely data for regulatory purposes.
* Adapt and deliver specially designed instruction for eligible students with disabilities.
* Perform CPI-certified restraint or seclusion as designated (if required).
* Oversee day-to-day responsibilities of Instructional Assistants.
* Proctor individual or small group assessments for state, district, or alternate testing.
* Manage the 504 process and EL assessments/services.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
* Education: Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
* Certification: Valid Special Education Certification, CPR and First Aid, valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
* Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred:
* Education: Bachelors degree in Special Education; Masters degree in Special Education or related field.
* Experience: One or more years of special education teaching experience.
* Certification: CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention).
* System Knowledge: Familiarity with IEP Pro or other IEP document management systems.
