Position Summary: The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities and equipment. Identify and promptly report safety hazards or compliance issues to the maintenance supervisor. 11. Perform other duties as assigned by the management team to support departmental objectives. Only $1,958,239… while only open four days a week :) (I had an associate and I didn't even work in the dental office) We help dentists build his or her dream practice. After we help build the dental practice from start to finish, we then help with operations. There will always be guidance from building your practice to operating it. I know I just threw a whole bunch of stats and data at you up there, but I wanted to explain pretty much the goal and the achievable result for the dental ownership position. I guess I was a little different than most - I just wanted to own my own dental practice as soon as I got out. Any mistakes or systems that I'd make would be faster that way. I also knew that the upside of ownership would be much better than the alternative, which is associate dentist. Ownership would provide me financial freedom, being my own boss, keeping any profits that the practice made and, eventually, creating systems so that I could eventually hire people and sit back and operate the business. And so, I graduated and started my career as an owner dentist. Though there was an issue - student loans. I don't know how much you have, but I had some crazy amount like $550,000. Not only that, but my wife had about $500,000 as well (she's also a dentist). But that's not the scary part. The scary part is the interest. I was in the IBR program where you pay like the absolute minimum. And that's when it hit me. While I was paying the minimum, my principal balance kept going up. I did this for about 3 years without truly knowing what was going on. So yeah, I was making money and invested into real estate, but decided to just pay off over a million dollars in student loans. The point I'm trying to make is that being an associate dentist isn't what it used to be. Associates have student loans they have to pay (probably the biggest one), car loans, rent / mortgage, family, life, and the cycle goes on and on. And that's precisely why I'm trying to let as many associate docs know the value of ownership and opportunity cost. Though we averaged a little over 5 mil for our practices, the top owner doc produced $8,864,788 for the year of 2024. I guess he was impressed by the system, so he took over another CLD practice… and this is the doc that became an owner doc after 8 months of graduation. And to complete the range, the bottom number is $1,958,239 while we had one full time and one part time doc on site (four days a week). I own this practice, but didn't have to work in it the whole year and still made this much. These are truly achievable results because, well, we did it and you can come to meet us whenever. And yes, it sounds too good to be true because I feel it too as I'm writing this. But you'll just have to see it for yourself. We're a legit company and we're here. In fact, we have something called "Item 19" in our Franchise Disclosure document. It's a public, legal document where it shows how much we've made each month for the whole year of 2024. Performs radiologic exams. Receives orders for designated radiologic examinations and prepares room; checking to assure that all required equipment, supplies are on hand. As required, transports patients to and from exam/waiting room in wheelchair. Positions patients on table or in appropriate standing/sitting posture. Required to lift, move, position and stabilize totally incapacitated patients. Arranges, attaches and/or adjusts immobilizations or supportive devices, such as pillows. Checks and adjusts for proper voltage, amperage, duration of exposure, etc.; making any required computations and calibrations. Activates machinery and takes required number of exposures. Repositions patient between exposures. Processes films using automated equipment. Reviews film for quality and readability and takes steps required to assure that quality control standards are met. Maintains radiation safety. Maintains radiation exposure levels to minimize patient dose. Adjusts X-ray equipment for proper centering, angle of exposure to designated body area. Arranges shielding devices. Stands behind protective barrier or wears lead apron to meet Alara requirements. Protects visitor and general public from unnecessary radiation exposures. Maintains high level of quality control. Maintains equipment and work area in clean and orderly condition. Carries out prescribed preventative maintenance procedures on instruments/equipment; making minor adjustments or repairs. Maintains communication. Explains procedures to be performed to each patient. Gives preparatory instructions and provides reassurance to anxious patients. Refers to Office Manager defective or inoperable equipment for repairs/replacement. Occasionally deals with uncooperative patients and/or distraught family members. Observes patient's condition and brings any unusual circumstances to attention of supervisor. Is aware of limitations of Radiologic Technologist; practices and functions within those limits. Assumes responsibility for professional self-growth. Qualifications Educational / Minimum Requirements: Graduation from a two year accredited program in Radiologic Technology is required. Medical Assistant experience is preferred. State/Federal Mandated Licensure or Certification Requirements: State of Connecticut Radiology State Licensure is required BLS certification is required Bristol Hospital Mandated Educational Requirements: General orientation at time of hire. Fire/Safety/Infection Control annually. Other programs as mandated by Hospital. Special Requirements: Demonstrated proficiency in electrocardiographic testing. Must be able to take vital signs, knowledgeable in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology. Familiarity with medical equipment common to a medical practice. I guess I was a little different than most - I just wanted to own my own dental practice as soon as I got out. Any mistakes or systems that I'd make would be faster that way. I also knew that the upside of ownership would be much better than the alternative, which is associate dentist. Ownership would provide me financial freedom, being my own boss, keeping any profits that the practice made and, eventually, creating systems so that I could eventually hire people and sit back and operate the business. And so, I graduated and started my career as an owner dentist. Though there was an issue - student loans. I don't know how much you have, but I had some crazy amount like $550,000. Not only that, but my wife had about $500,000 as well (she's also a dentist). But that's not the scary part. The scary part is the interest. I was in the IBR program where you pay like the absolute minimum. And that's when it hit me. While I was paying the minimum, my principal balance kept going up. I did this for about 3 years without truly knowing what was going on. So yeah, I was making money and invested into real estate, but decided to just pay off over a million dollars in student loans. The point I'm trying to make is that being an associate dentist isn't what it used to be. Associates have student loans they have to pay (probably the biggest one), car loans, rent / mortgage, family, life, and the cycle goes on and on. And that's precisely why I'm trying to let as many associate docs know the value of ownership and opportunity cost. Though we averaged a little over 5 mil for our practices, the top owner doc produced $8,864,788 for the year of 2024. I guess he was impressed by the system, so he took over another CLD practice… and this is the doc that became an owner doc after 8 months of graduation. And to complete the range, the bottom number is $1,958,239 while we had one full time and one part time doc on site (four days a week). I own this practice, but didn't have to work in it the whole year and still made this much. These are truly achievable results because, well, we did it and you can come to meet us whenever. And yes, it sounds too good to be true because I feel it too as I'm writing this. But you'll just have to see it for yourself. We're a legit company and we're here. In fact, we have something called "Item 19" in our Franchise Disclosure document. It's a public, legal document where it shows how much we've made each month for the whole year of 2024.
