Starting pay rate: $48/hr PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Performs advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of plant operations. Coordinate with station engineering to develop and execute condition-based maintenance (CBM) programs. Possesses excellent knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application and has detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations. Technologies include, but are not limited to, generator testing, voltage regulator testing, motor testing, Doble testing, protective relay testing and calibration, as well as breaker maintenance. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Perform predictive maintenance and calibration testing on major plant apparatus, writing reports, and maintaining the logs Perform maintenance and calibration in support of plant operations Provide technical support to plant operations, maintenance staff, and engineering in including technical procedure and specification reviews Provides in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering activities and programs Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work ensuring proper configuration management and assuring that standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes are used in preparation of plans and specifications. All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (Emergency Response duties and/or coverage, Department duty coverage and/or call out, and positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Associate's degree in engineering technology, electronics, or related field OR High school diploma/GED with minimum of 18 months of trade or technical training in Power Plant Technology or related field Demonstrated leadership skills to include attention to safety (personal and environmental schedules, equipment and its efficient use, and the use of employees to get the job done Travel required up to 80% Effective communication skills in all directions Ability to work in a power plant environment that includes climbing, walking long distances, and standing for the majority of the time Ability to lift a of 50 pounds Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with transformer and motor testing Relay calibration experience

Duties and responsibilities include utilizing HAZMAT gear and appropriate tools to recover records and other forms of Data from environments that pose a detriment to the data being recovered; boxing and packaging of records and data; removing records and data from their current environment into a holding environment; and removing any hazardous materials as identified by Project Managers. Additionally, the Data Recovery Technician will visually inspect records and data mediums during the boxing and packaging phases to determine which records and data mediums are ‘at risk of recovery' from different contamination and deterioration levels. Please note: Hazmat gear is designed to protect from particulates and other hazardous materials. Materials you may encounter include mold, various building materials, asbestos, among others. Title: Communications Tech 2 Location: Office located in Hagerstown, MD Rate: $21.75 - $26.00/hour Full-Time/Part Time: Full-Time Reporting to: Technical Operations Supervisor Primary Responsibilities Include: Install, disconnect, connect, upgrade, downgrade, make changes, troubleshoot, and repair customer services for residential and commercial locations. Install fiber drops, interior fiber wiring, ONTs, customer fiber equipment, and complete end-to-end fiber service installations. Perform fiber splicing for new construction, maintenance, restoration, and customer activation, including both aerial and underground applications. Maintain broadband and fiber systems by testing to locate trouble, opening cable to replace or repair defective sections, and sealing/closing cable. Splice cable to protector devices, fiber terminals, distribution frames, and splice drop cable to feeder/distribution systems. Educate customers on services being provided, proper equipment use, and propose/sell additional solutions and upgrades. Maintain an appropriate and professional image of the company through appearance, demeanor, driving habits, and customer interactions. Assist with new construction projects including fiber placement, terminal installation, and cutover activities. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED A valid Driver's License and clean driving record is required 1-2 years of CATV, fiber installation, or other relevant technical/electronic experience. Able to install, troubleshoot, and repair customer products/services using knowledge of plant distribution, fiber systems, and customer equipment. Ability to install and run fiber drops, interior fiber pathways, and terminate customer fiber services. Able to locate and mark underground services utilizing test equipment, prints, and database mapping software. Splice and repair fiber, including fusion splicing, ribbon splicing, and prepping fiber terminals for activation. Knowledge and experience working with electronics, DC power, and fiber optic equipment. Able to properly operate small hand tools, power tools, and test equipment. Able to work independently and plan tasks to complete projects efficiently. Strong computer skills in Word and Excel. Able to accurately measure distances using tapes or other measuring devices. Able to differentiate between different sizes and colors of wires/cables. Ability to work in tight spaces including attics, crawl spaces, cabinets, utility closets, and telco rooms. Knowledge of and ability to comply with all OSHA, FCC, NEC, and local ordinances. Working Conditions: Lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Walk over all types of terrain in all kinds of weather while carrying tools, equipment, and ladders. Kneeling, crouching, crawling, twisting, pulling, bending, pushing, and reaching above head. Work indoors in poorly ventilated areas such as attics during extreme heat. Exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and insects. On-call rotation every 3 weeks.
