While working for the Government gave me my daily bread as well as the possibility of positively impacting public policy and society at large, I used my spare time to research and write on trade and development issues.

Having undertaken research studies for UNCTAD, OECD, GTZ, ICTSD etc,. co-edited a book on trade negotiations, contributed chapters to ten books and written numerous articles on development policy, trade and environment, intellectual property rights, least developed countries, development assistance etc., I feel happy to contribute more to the relevant literature. Now I have started working on India's development cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region by leading a project being implemented by The Asia Foundation.

Md. Abdul Alim (PhD) is a Director, Elections and CSO Development at Asia Foundation and is based in Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has worked as Senior Elections Specialist at Asia Foundation, Project Coordinator/Project Manager (Elections) at UNDP, and Director-Elections/EWG at Asia Foundation. Md. attended MSS (Demography), Dhaka University, Dhaka, Bangladesh and Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Roger Craig is a Chief Human Resources Officer at Asia Foundation. He has worked as Area Vice President, Human Resources at Wyndham Destinations and Director, Human Resources at Applied Materials. Roger attended NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY between 1987 and 1989.
