Ahmed leads financial management so Treehouse can more effectively and efficiently serve youth in foster care. He’s held several senior leadership positions and most recently served as the CEO and CFO at Red Wagon Village, a ride-sharing platform he founded for busy parents based in Washington D.C. Before that, he was the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at American College of Cardiology-a 49,000 member medical society and data company with $160 million in revenues. He’s also worked for Sprint, Marriott International and HP in other finance roles.

Born in Sudan, Ahmed moved at age 14 to Brooklyn, New York. There he learned English and earned a full scholarship to the University of Maryland. He graduated in the top 5 percent of his class at Georgetown University with an MBA. Ahmed has coached youth sports, and been a volunteer mentor and PTA board member.

Angela Griffin is a Chief Program Officer at Treehouse and is based in Seattle, Washington. She has worked as Senior Director of Child Care and Community Programs at YMCA of Greater Seattle - Coal Creek, Regional Director of Early Childhood Programs at YMCA of Greater Seattle - Coal Creek, and Associate Executive Director at YMCA of Greater Seattle - Coal Creek. Angela attended Seattle University between 2018 and 2021 and California State University, Dominguez Hills between 2002 and 2005.

Jess Lewis is a Chief Program Officer at Treehouse.

Lincoln Miller is an Interim Chief Financial Officer at Treehouse.

As Chief Development Officer, Maya leads Treehouse’s work to engage donors, volunteers, and funders as partners in creating positive change for youth experiencing foster care. She has served the Pacific Northwest for nearly 20 years, raising millions of dollars to build a more inclusive community through Solid Ground, United Way of Snohomish County, Women’s Funding Alliance, and Seattle Goodwill. Maya trains future nonprofit leaders in the University of Washington’s Certificate in Fundraising Management and is currently serving as the President-Elect for AFP Advancement Northwest.

Maya holds an MPA, a Certificate in Nonprofit Management, and a Certificate in Content Strategy from the University of Washington and a BS from Carnegie Mellon. She is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), a member of Leadership Snohomish County’s inaugural Leading for Racial Equity cohort, and a long-serving Girl Scout troop volunteer.

Always calm and focused in any situation, Stefani brings a people-first commitment to Treehouse. An accomplished human resources leader with more than 20 years of experience, Coverson joined Treehouse in 2020 from Clark College where she served as Vice President of Human Resources & Compliance. She’s also worked for Seattle University, Seattle Public Schools and started her career at the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS).

Coverson earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Political Science from Washington State University. She also holds both Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Senior Certified Professional (SCP) certifications from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) respectively.
