Joe Ferraro was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer for Avis Budget Group in June 2020, following a six-month period as interim CEO. Prior to this, Mr. Ferraro served as President, Americas, for Avis Budget Group. In this role, Mr. Ferraro was responsible for the Company’s Avis, Budget, Payless and Zipcar brands in North and South America, including Latin America and the Caribbean. Mr. Ferraro was previously Senior Vice President of Operations, North America, where he oversaw all Avis and Budget car and truck rental operations in the United States and Canada, including airport and local market locations. He has 40 years of experience with Avis Budget Group, holding various positions of increasing responsibility. Mr. Ferraro holds a Bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University.

Prior to becoming Chief Executive Officer in May 2019, he held the positions of Chief Operating Officer, President of North American Surface Transportation, Vice President of Truckload, and Vice President of Robinson Fresh. He began his career with Robinson Fresh in 1999. Currently, Bob serves on the Board of Directors for the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA), and as a trustee of the Winona State University Foundation. Bob graduated from Winona State University with a Bachelor of Arts.

Prior to the merger with Seamless North America LLC, Matt served as CEO of GrubHub Inc., a company he co-founded in 2004. He led the company through five rounds of investment funding, the acquisition of DotMenu and the 2012 launch of OrderHub. Matt currently serves as an advisory board member for The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship, is a member of ChicagoNEXT, an organization dedicated to driving growth and opportunity in the Chicago business community, and serves on the board of directors of Merge Healthcare Incorporated (Nasdaq: MRGE). He was named one of the top 50 business people of 2014 by Fortune Magazine, and is the 2012 Built in Chicago Moxie Award winner for CEO of the Year and a regular contributor to The Wall Street Journal’s The Accelerators blog. Matt holds a B.S. in physiology from Michigan State University and an MBA and MSCS from the University of Chicago.
