Experience

Key Responsibilities
As a vital role charged with the management of both people and processes, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for all phases of the warehousing operations. The selected individual will manage a team of employees who are performing a wide variety of shipping/receiving and inventory management activities. Responsibilities
* Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and accountability of inventoried material at the facility including location, status and lot control.
* Responsible for coordination of all shipping activities from Lee Laboratories.
* Responsible for all inventory transactions required to receive and disperse material.
* Responsible for ensuring proper documentation (ie. OSHA compliance documentation, packing slips) and processing all receipts against purchase orders.
* Ensure expedient delivery of materials to all functional areas.
* Perform monthly cycle counts and inventory discrepancy reconciliations
* Print packing slips, commercial invoices, and other necessary shipping documents.
* Identifies proper location and storage of items, methods of movement of materials and release of materials
* Responsible for physical disposition of scrap and obsolete products with guidance from QA and/or Materials Management
* Establish most economical shipping routes and quote shipping charges.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Able to work independently with little instruction on routine work and may receive general supervision
* Sound judgment and decision-making skills
* Good basic mathematical skills
* Good interpersonal skills and ability to work together as a team player.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Must be organized, assertive and detail oriented.
* Experience with cycle count procedures
* Valid Georgia driver's license.
* Understanding and certification for shipping hazardous materials.
* Experience with ERP system, JDE or SAP or similar.
Education and Experience:
* High School Diploma or GED.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in Receiving, Shipping, Inventory Control and Purchasing functions in a manufacturing environment.

Position Summary:
Oversees and coordinates program activities designed to ensure effective and economical support for production of various goods and services. Responsible for the efficient control of raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventories, analyzing and reporting inventory variances, making system inventory adjustments, creating best practices, managing annual physical inventory, while overseeing the day-to-day cycle counting activities including identification and reduction of IED inventories.
Position Responsibilities:
* Management of the inventory control team, including staffing decisions, training and development of employees
* Cycle count process including ensuring timely and accurate counts and adjustments.
* Annual physical inventory audit including planning, cross-functional coordination, and execution aligned with company stated policies.
* Approval authority for inventory adjustments including troubleshooting & driving corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
* Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of inventory metrics including performance and health measures as well as audit results
* Audits of inventory processes and transactions to ensure the materials handling team is executing to written process documentation.
* Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists employees in solving work problems.
* Collaborate with production and materials team employees to ensure business goals are met.

Position Qualifications:
Education:
