We are seeking an experienced and driven WarehouseManager to take the lead at our brand-new Distribution facility in the Katy/Brookshire area. This is a key leadership role, reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain, with full ownership of warehouse and distribution operations at our new facility.

Key Responsibilities
Take a hands-on leadership approach across all inbound and outbound warehouse operations
Lead, manage, mentor, and provide direction to warehouse leads, team members, and third-party contractors
Conduct daily start-up meetings to align the workforce on safety, priorities, and performance
Plan and manage labor rosters, time and attendance, absenteeism, and staffing levels based on forecasts
Maintain a safe, compliant workplace, ensuring all company safety standards are met and space utilization is optimized
Schedule and oversee general maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, scanners, P&A machines, and tools
Oversee general warehouse administration, including:
Housekeeping standards across the warehouse and yard

WMS inventory control and stocktaking
Perform inventory controls and maintain audit accuracy of 98% or higher
Validate and approve vendor invoices
Ensure all internal processes and business requirements are followed and periodically audited
Provide daily operational reporting to management (e.g., EOS summaries, labor plans)
Maintain high standards of internal and external communication, escalating issues to management when required
Ensure compliance with quality service standards, procedures, rules, and regulations
Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail across all tasks
Complete additional tasks aligned with your skills and experience to meet business needs as required

* If assigned to the food services area: assist in instructing Inmates assigned to food service in the safe, hygienic method of preparing and serving appetizing, eye-appealing meals.

Education and Experience Requirements:
* Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED.
* Successful completion of an accredited, TDCJ-approved Correctional Officer Training program or TDCJ Correctional Officer Pre-service Training Academy provided upon hire.
* Continued employment is contingent upon passing exams and skills tests.
* Valid driver's license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required for transportation positions.

**What you'll do:** You'll be responsible for the custody and discipline of Inmates in the facility in compliance with Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) directives. If assigned to the transportation department, responsible for the transporting of Inmates to and from the facility in
accordance with established procedures.
**Essential Functions:**
1. Search for contraband and provide security.
2. Count, feed and supervise offenders in housing, work and other areas, which includes climbing stairs.
3. Provide custody and security of offenders including observation of offenders, which includes long periods of sitting and standing.
4. Perform security functions including "pat" and "strip" searches, by squatting and bending to perform such functions.
5. Transfer and transport offenders by walking or riding in vehicles. Restrain and secure assaultive offenders as needed.
