Job Requirements and Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field or equivalent relevant experience 5 years of management experience within a Big Box retailer preferred. Proven ability to lead, coach, and build relationships in a fast paced environment. Must be able to direct and motivate a diverse population that includes full- time and part-time team members. Demonstrated ability to act decisively with implementing solutions, planning and delegating tasks, monitoring and achieving goals, and responding to change. Awhile always equipment, racking systems, shipping/receiving doors, dock plates and yard are free from hazards * Execute on the weekly workflow to balance labor between shifts and plants * Ensure all department equipment (warehouse technology including RF, packing systems, shipping systems, and forklifts etc) are functioning, as required * Developing and communicating KPI's/metrics for all Distribution Team members, which will help measure employee productivity and effectiveness Qualifications * Forklift certification * Previous responsible for supervising and directing others * Experience with Process Improvement tools LEAN and 5S and Kaizens * Experience with TMS and ERP programs The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
