Under the guidance and direction of the Distribution Supervisor, the Supervisor Trainee will help support, communicate, and enforce all policies/procedures to hourly associates to include safety, attendance, quality, and performance. Contributes with implementing safety protocols to help ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Reports and addresses safety issues immediately. Assist in completion of all required reports and paperwork Performs all duties listed above as well as any other job-related duties as assigned. Leadership Helps in creating a positive work environment for employees and assists supervisor in maintaining high engagement and morale. Qualifications/ Education High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of three years of job-related experience, preferably in a distribution environment. Skills for Success Overall fluency in the English language both written and spoken. Bilingual English / Spanish preferred. Strong Communication (Oral, Written, Presentation) Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software applications such as those included in Microsoft Office. High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation. Demonstrated leadership potential Typical Working Conditions Will work around equipment, such as conveyors and rolling stock, which could contain hazards. Other exposures found in a distribution center such as high level of noise and dust may exist for this position.
