Does AIG drug test?
Yes, AIG drug tests. They do not drug test, however, consistently across store locations or positions. They may require a pre-employment drug test as part of the hiring process, as well as randomly testing employees working in distribution or with heavy machinery.
AIG uses a 5-panel blood or urine test that screens for the presence of amphetamines, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine (PCP), and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Marijuana is a deal breaker regardless of whether it is legalized in your state.
AIG's Alcohol and Drug Use Policy:
- Using, selling, possessing or working under the influence of illegal drugs at AIG is prohibited. Excessive or inappropriate use of alcohol while conducting business for AIG is also prohibited. Inappropriate behavior is not excused or justified due to being under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
While AIG does not explicitly state anything regarding their policy on tobacco-use, they do prohibit smoking or the use of chewing tobacco of any kind inside of the building.
