You make a resume for a first-year teacher by focusing on your educational and license credentials, as well as the key skills and passion for teaching.
As a new teacher, you've just spent the last few years completing your education and passing your exams. You're ready to begin your career as a teacher, but the only problem is creating a resume that effectively demonstrates this.
We first recommend reading over the job description and taking note of any keywords or skills mentioned. Then touch on your own experiences and skills that best reflect those covered in the job description.
To begin, you should lead with a strong objective. In a few sentences, describe yourself as a candidate and highlight what you bring to the table. Be sure to include information about your educational experience and license.

Next, you're going to include a section on your teaching license, followed by a well-crafted education section that highlights some of the academic achievements and core coursework.
Finally, be sure to include a customized list of skills related to being a successful teacher. Include no more than ten hard and soft skills that not only reflect your own abilities but also align with those mentioned in the job description.
