What are some achievements as an account manager?

Discussing your achievements on your account manager resume is one of the most important parts of a resume. The hiring manager wants to know what you have to offer besides skills to the company where you've applied for a job.

To get started, you will need to reflect on your experiences and write down any achievements that come to mind. Look for examples that demonstrate your value in this position. To do this, be sure to review the job description carefully to mention particular skills and keywords.

If, for example, the position requires a lot of training, then focus on an achievement related to that - such as, "Trained 80 employees to work as accounting team members, as part of their induction."

If the job description focuses highly on the sales aspect of account management, then focus more on those achievements. For example, "Grew customer base by 50%, by suggesting a reduction in actual product cost while maintaining profit levels."

Or maybe the job description mentions accuracy as being important, and so you describe an accomplishment related to that - such as, "Introduced the concept of rechecking, hence, reducing discrepancies by 85%".
